“Houston, we have a problem.” Do you feel like saying that as you watch the chaos in this country? Sometimes it seems that factions in society are on different planets or in different orbits. They keep yelling and fighting for their own version of change, but in the process, they create more division and pain. It is like two people watching a swimmer drowning in a pool, but neither is willing to jump in and get wet to save them. They add insult to injury by arguing about why the swimmer is even in the pool. Sounds absurd, doesn’t it? Yet, are you standing by watching this country drown? Are you arguing with, or about, someone whose perspective or race differs from yours, yet neither of you will ‘jump in?’

Do you really want to see change in your community? Are you willing to do whatever is necessary? It is time to stop arguing, stop judging, and stop hiding. It is time to bring the saving grace of Jesus Christ into every issue we face. As His disciples, we have been given an assignment by God to be agents of change and reconciliation. In today’s podcast, Dr. Loggins presents the answer to every racial divide this nation faces. We need God’s help. Are you ready to ‘jump in’ and allow Him to use you or will you continue to stand by arguing as if Jesus isn’t enough? It is time for change. It is time for reconciliation, and it must begin with each of us; right here, right now.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20
